Writing a Narrative

Today we learned about a new kind of writing called a Narrative.

We read a story and then had a turn at writing our own narratives.

This is the story we wrote as a class.

Baby Bear Goes Fishing
By Room 10

Father Bear and Baby Bear are going fishing.
Father Bear and Baby Bear went to the river to catch fish.
The two bears were waiting and waiting and waiting but NO fish came.
Father Bear gave up fishing but Baby Bear kept trying and trying and trying.
He caught some fish!
Baby Bear took the fish home in his net.
His family ate them for dinner.

We also published our book on the ipad.
We wrote our own stories in our writing books too.
