wow so much Quality Work today

Today soooo many children read so well. Look at these fantastic readers. Who all found the words they know in their stories, made the first sound of tricky words and made their reading sound very interesting

What are we Learning?

In Maths we are learning how to
* count forward and backwards to 10, 20 and 100.
We are also working on
* the next number after and the number before a number

In Reading we are learning to
* talk about the story we have read in our own words
* point to each word as we read

* try words we are unsure of

When we come to a word we don't know we need to
* Look at the picture

* Make the first sound
* Say a word that makes sense

In Writing we are learning to
* write the first sounds in words
* write the words we know by ourselves
* try writing by ourselves

Learning is so much fun.
