We are Learning To....

I thought this would be a great place to share some of our learning intentionals and goals for term four....I wonder how you will go with these!

Handwriting
We are learning to

• sit the letters on the line
• start the letters in the right place

Writing
We are learning to

• write the words we know in our writing
• use our writer's bubble gum to sound out tricky words

Reading
We are learning to

• make the first sound of tricky words and then say a word that makes sense
• retell the story we have read
• read lots of words by ourselves

Maths
We are learning to

• make sets to 20
• join sets together and make number sentences like 2+3=5
• count backwards from 20

We are learning to

• have a try even when something is tricky
• always do our best work
• use a quiet voice inside
• take turns and share with our friends
• listen carefully to instructions and follow them well
• be great learners

Wow, no wonder we go home feeling tired....that's a LOT of learning every day!....and we learn even more than that every day too!
