St Albans Values in Action

Today during reading time I had to stop listening to reading for a short time to capture some incredible independent work that was happening.  A group of children were invovled in role playing- initially using puppets and later simply using themselves.  The children built a wall out of games to be the puppet theatre although they soon outgrew this!

I love the way this clip captures the incredible negotiating skills, the cooperative skills, problem solving, creativity and fun the children were putting into action.

At the same time Che and Melad were quietly playing a game, again showing excellent cooperative skills that made me feel very proud of them both.  Have a listen to the way they take turns in this game.
