Splashing in the Rain

Today was soooo wet and rainy that many of us came to school in our gumboots.  We put on our coats and went outside for a few minutes this morning.  We felt the rain, we opened our mouths and tried to catch the rain, we even jumped in the puddles!....Then we went inside and warmed up again...then we wrote some BRILLIANT stories about being in the rain.  It was great fun and we did some of the best writing we have ever done.
