Our item for assembly

this is a sneak preview of our assembly item....I need to post the video so we can use it tomorrow~ I'll put a proper post up after the assembly!

What are we Learning?

In Maths we are learning how to
* count forward and backwards to 10, 20 and 100.
We are also working on
* the next number after and the number before a number

In Reading we are learning to
* talk about the story we have read in our own words
* point to each word as we read

* try words we are unsure of

When we come to a word we don't know we need to
* Look at the picture

* Make the first sound
* Say a word that makes sense

In Writing we are learning to
* write the first sounds in words
* write the words we know by ourselves
* try writing by ourselves

Learning is so much fun.

I would love to hear about what you are learning about at home- maybe you could write a Blog Post to our class?
