We looked at the things that are the same and different about houses around the world- and why.
We did lots of wondering and discovering today. We made a big chart that shows our great thinking. We are trying hard to be deeper thinkers- this means that we have to really think hard and ask questions- and try to find the answers too.
We went on an adventure too. We set our classroom up like an aeroplane. We had to put on our seatbelts and imagine what we could see out of the aeroplane windows- we have been learning about the world being made up of land and sea. We went to lots of different countries around the world on our adventure and we got off the aeroplane and pretended we were tourists. We had our binoculars and imagined what the houses were like in each country.
We had to think about the climate (that's a fancy word for weather patterns) and what the ground looked like too- some countries were sandy, some had grass, some even had snow on the ground!
We used some amazing language and some brilliant thinking and ideas were shared. We also had great fun- another one of our school values.
